The St. Lawrence Ship Operators have announced the members of their Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term, composed of representatives from key Canadian maritime transportation organizations operating along the St. Lawrence–Great Lakes corridor. The Board’s mandate will be to continue strengthening the association’s governance, support the implementation of the 2026–2028 strategic plan, and advance the deployment of sector priorities identified for the benefit of the maritime industry. Saul Polo is President and CEO.

The 2025 fiscal year represented a key period of renewal and strategic repositioning for the St. Lawrence Ship Operators, marked by sustained membership growth, an increased public presence, and a strengthened position as a structured and credible voice for decision-makers. This momentum is part of the preparations for the organization’s 90th anniversary celebrations. Founded in 1936, the St. Lawrence Ship Operators remain the only association in Canada exclusively dedicated to representing and promoting ship operators.
