In 2026, the Port of Montreal is getting ready to welcome 50,000 passenger days aboard 17 ships from 15 different cruise lines, from the smallest – Ponant’s Bellot (184 passengers) – to the largest, Holland-America’s Volendam (1,440 passengers). All in all, there will be nine stopovers and 30 boarding/disembarking operations. The season gets underway on April 24 with the Victory I and ends on October 31 with the Seabourn Ovation.
Germany, Iceland, the Great Lakes, Florida and New England are just some of the origins and destinations for the different vessels.
Interesting fact for the city: six cruise ships will stay in port for longer than a day – the Viking Mars (September 11-13 and October 5-7), the Amera (September 12-13), the Scenic Eclipse (September 23-24), the Vista (September 24-25) and the Crystal Symphony (October 2-3) – giving passengers the opportunity to discover the city. What a great source of positive benefits for the city!
Also interesting is the fact that four round-trip cruises from Montreal will be available during the season. This is good news for Montrealers who want to get away without taking a plane!
- Aboard the Volendam, from May 30 to June 9 or September 1 to 12
- Aboard the Seabourn Ovation, from September 25 to October 7
- Aboard Windstar Cruises’ Star Pride, from September 24 to October 9
Montreal continues to be one of the most popular destinations for luxury cruises. This year, Crystal Cruises is returning to Montreal after a seven-year absence with its luxury ship Crystal Symphony (606 passengers). It will also be our pleasure to welcome two newcomers: the Scenic Eclipse (228 passengers) on September 23 and 24, and the Seabourn Ovation (604 passengers), which will visit three times: September 25, October 7 and October 31.
