ABS has announced the expansion of its capabilities in the Norwegian maritime market with the opening of a cutting-edge support center in Bergen, bringing advanced engineering, technology, sustainability and survey resources to one of the world’s most strategically important energy and maritime regions.
The ABS Offshore & Marine Support Center is home to research and development engineers focused on technology development and collaboration with the local industry, along with design approval engineers supporting the Norwegian fleet and connecting clients directly to the ABS global engineering network. The office houses a dedicated commercial team focused on building and strengthening relationships across the Norwegian marine and offshore community. Bergen also serves as the primary base for ABS surveyors in the region.
