Griffin named Port Metro Vancouver planning and development director
Canada's largest port has appointed Mark Griffin as director of planning and development.
He is responsible for the implementation of project agreements with government and commercial partners, ensuring that Port Metro Vancouver takes an integrated approach to port planning, development, and supply chain activities in connection with landside transportation systems.
Mr. Griffin has worked in Asia, including as business development manager for Bechtel Corporation in Hong Kong and as general manager of Pacific Architects & Engineers in Tokyo. In North America, his career background includes senior regional planner for Southern California Association of Governments and associate in charge at Wilbur Smith Systems.
In another appointment, federal Transport Minister John Baird has appointed Eugene Kwan, President and CEO of Agincourt Capital Corporation, to the Board of Directors of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority for three years.
