The Port of Montreal has won the Canadian Company of the Year Award from the Belgian Canadian Business Chamber (BCBC). The award was presented on April 27, 2023 at the BCBC Business Excellence Awards Gala to Guillaume Brossard, Vice-President, Development, Marketing and International Relations and Alain Berard, Director of Development and International Relations of the Port of Montreal.
The BCBC Business Excellence Awards Gala recognizes and honours companies that have made significant contribution contributed to the economic vitality of the Belgian-Canadian business community.
As an international trade hub and a privileged partner of Northern Europe, the Port of Montreal plays a central role in the trade relations linking Canada and Belgium. Through the port facilities of Montreal and long-time partner the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, businesses and consumers on both sides of the Atlantic gain special access to a top-tier logistics ecosystem and a direct shipping route via the St. Lawrence River corridor.
