Iqaluit – Nunavut Eastern Arctic Shipping (NEAS) announced that it will provide exclusive maritime shipping services for the Government of Nunavut across the territory, following a call for tenders.

Through a team of qualified professionals, supported by a modern fleet of Inuit-owned vessels, NEAS ensures the reliable transportation of essential goods and equipment to northern communities, while supporting supply chains in remote regions and fostering economic development in the Canadian Arctic.
In addition to its exclusive maritime shipping contract, the NEAS Cargo Services Centre, located in the heart of the Bécancour Port and Industrial Park, has secured the Government of Nunavut’s contract for packaging, sorting, and containerization. Through its modern facilities, advanced technology and recognized expertise, the Cargo Services Centre will ensure the preparation, compliance and secure handling of cargo for optimal transport, guaranteeing that each shipment arrives at its destination in the best possible condition.
