CPCS acquires France-based maritime and port consultancy

Ottawa-based CPCS, a leading infrastructure management consultant working on some of the largest projects and initiatives in rail, transit, freight, ports, maritime, and trade-enabling infrastructure across the globe, announces it’s acquiring Mille407, a France-based port and maritime management consultancy headquartered in La Rochelle. CPCS has completed some 1,700 projects in more than 120 countries.

Governments, port authorities, terminal operating companies, shipping lines, logistics operators, maritime stakeholders, and investors now have 1407 additional reasons to count on CPCS for industry-tested solutions delivered by specialists who understand the challenges and opportunities in the port and maritime sectors, stated a press release. “Our unified organization will help public and private clients overcome challenges and seize opportunities for greener, smarter, resilient, and profitable trade-enabling infrastructure.”

1407 Founder and President Matthieu Desiderio, and CEO Mathew Paul, are integrating the CPCS Group. They join as Global Practice Leads for Port and Maritime Advisory, while also serving as Vice Presidents overseeing multimodal transportation activities across Continental Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
